I genuinely feel bad for the humane and honest people who live in the U.S. that are forced to live through this stuff every. damn. day. I have friends in the U.S whom I love dearly (one who is actually visiting us from Minnesota right now), and the constant nightmarish headlines is too much.

My oldest friend and I met in 7th grade when we were 12 years old and we bonded over Pokémon. Today is his 39th birthday. As is my duty, I immediately bullied him for closing in on 40. 😊 Now please excuse me as I sit here and willfully IGNORE the fact that I will also be 39 in less than 6 months.

One of our offices was evacuated today because someone tossed a live grenade (what in the actual fuck!?) through the front window of a nearby auto repair shop. It hasn’t detonated and nobody is hurt (yet, police are on scene), but damn that was not an e-mail I was expecting to get before lunch. 🤯

Sudden urges for Chinese food when your local Chinese place is closed is the worst.
