Liam is free!

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

Even though it's still cold, I went out this morning and stopped briefly at a park. When I saw this it reminded me of the saying: "Take only photos, leave only footprints." I complied. #photography #footprints

I #worry about crazy crap & sometimes make stuff up to worry about. It causes me #anxiety. Today I faced it & got my car out of the garage despite the driveway being a block of ice. Then I faced it again getting back into the garage. As usual, nothing really to worry about. #faceyourfears

I have been in quite the posting mood today. Apologies, Bluesky friends!

I grew up in S Fla & when I was young I liked when we had a hurricane 🌀. Shutters went up, we had snacks & hunkered down together. A twisted version of quality family time? Then one missed us & wreaked havoc on the East Coast & I realized they were serious. I grew up & the charm was gone.
