I am not being elitist or anti-AI, nor claiming human expression is morally superior to AI because I don't think AI is art to begin with. art is a process involving perception, intention, and decision-making. AI doesn't do that. It just generates images.

I have said this already. I am not naive. AI is here to stay and studios will use it either we like it or not. AI will clearly speed up their work at the cost of creativity and originality. Because its all about money, not love for art. I just hate when they justify with bullshit

Larian Studios insist they only use AI as ref for concept art. They clearly do not get It. An AI has no idea how art works. It just generates slop following patterns without any artistic intention. Concept artists rely on real-life references, photos, observation, and study to explore ideas.

This hurts, but I'll forget about personal projects for the time being. It's wasted time and effort... I'll clear comms and work individual drawings. Maybe reorganize my art galleries (Deleting/scrapping some art).

I think a goal would be to gain enough from drawing vore and similar kinks art with OCs and fanarts, receive support for it, offer comms once in a while and then, when I feel stabilized and comfortable, I would start my personal projects.

Reason of inactivity is I dont know how to focus my art career. I cannot do all. I cannot work my personal projects, I cannot open a Patreon just for SFW while also being interested in Vore content and I cannot just keep getting comms without a clear goal. I feel really stuck.

I dont think I'll open comms this month. I didnt work enough last month. I'll take this next week to progress as much as I can and depending on the work done I'll see what I do.

Tracing pictures, real art or AI slop for learning is fine (I wouldnt trust an AI ref tho). For work its not fine. it's lazy and unprofessional behaviour. Using them as ref, either to copy the pose or get some ideas from them, its fine and part of the job.

About the recent furry art drama. Whenever you want to commission someone, be sure to read the ToS to avoid misunderstandings. If you dont agree with someones ToS, you can ask the artist or hire someone else. Rules are important for a fair agreement on both sides.
