A Canticle for Liebowitz is weird. The first story read to me like a pythonesqe parody of the old Catholic Church, but apparently it's not. The second part feels like a parody of the modern Catholic Church, but apparently it isn't. I guess I'll see what the third part holds.

Finished The Chimes of Midnight. It was excellent. I think adding the visual aspect to it really gave the story an extra depth and dimension.

The song, "Dancing in the dark", is completely unrealistic. At no point do you hear someone shouting, "OW!", Followed by, "sorry mate".

Well, Jubilee was excellent, so let's see how The Chimes of Midnight fares. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without it.

I'm about half way through, it's a great adaptation and seems even darker in book form.

All over the news is the fact that Microsoft have canned a bunch of studios and made a bunch of layoffs. Something they literally didn't need to do because they made $88 billion profit last year. Absolute wanker move by Microsoft there. Big surprise, I guess.

Because of the whole AI warfare startup funding thing, I've nuked my Spotify account and switched to Qobuz. So far it seems better anyway. Nothing was lost.
