I will say that Dolan was right about Drury. he has changed the culture here. we don’t have one now. he’s a loser in every sense of the word.

I love Aaron Glenn because he was a terrific New York Jet. I want him to be the one to turn us around but I’d fire him in a heartbeat if we had any legitimate shot of landing Mike Tomlin. Tomlin is an incredible HC and any team should look to add him that isn’t SF, LAR, or NE.

I kinda feel bad for JT Miller. he’s gonna get scapegoated by this fanbase for things that aren’t remotely his fault but he’s gonna wear the mess that the GM created wrongfully so. such a shitty spot for a player to be in especially when you see that he cares.

the Rangers issues are two fold: a clueless owner who puts his faith in the wrong people. and a general manager who’s clearly in above his head and has no idea how to correct any of his poor decisions. it’s why that this franchise is on the brink of total chaos.

it’s not that trading for JT was even the wrong move. it was made at the wrong time. had Drury done it the year before we’d have a Stanley Cup banner hanging in the rafters at MSG. Drury chose to not push chips to the middle and we were paper tigers.

I like JT a lot but he’s not a captain. he’s not the guy who can keep a train from going off the tracks. when things are going well he’s your guy but this kinda response doesn’t shock me. not dogging him but being “the guy” isn’t him. not his fault at all either. it’s on Drury.

a real organization would’ve recognized the GM is the issue when he’s on his third head coach in 6 years but Dolan is an oblivious clown and thinks he’s a “winner” because he doesn’t wanna actually do his job as an owner. Dark ages 2.0 have arrived.

and because of this it’s why I have no faith that even if we blow this up, they’ll get it right. they can’t draft and develop talent and the proof is in the pudding.

let’s get one point straight, the Rangers picking Laf isn’t want derailed everything. it’s the fact that this team had 8 picks in the top 60 and didn’t draft a single difference making player. the only one who came outta it that had any kinda promise was Chytil. that’s why we’re here now.

and most people honestly only compared him to Sid because they played on the same Junior team. Laf has been a disgrace since getting his extension and has phoned it in.

I’ve been watching hockey for a very long time and I truly don’t understand this team at all.

this Rangers team likely won’t make the playoffs due to the Jekyll and Hyde nature. even if they do, they’re a first round out. but it honestly makes no sense how they can have the comeback they did tonight and then have games where they look like they’ve never skated before.
