The email came first: “Contract terminated.” Then the video. Her face. Her voice. But none of it was real. A lie, engineered to look like truth. This is deepfake abuse— and it can destroy trust in seconds.

Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence is an alarming and growing form of abuse that extends beyond the digital space, it deeply impacts the psychological wellbeing of survivors. We recognize that survivors of TFGBV need safe spaces, psychological support,to rebuild their lives.

We closed off Cybersecurity Awareness Month by conducting a Child Online Safety session at St. Gracious Secondary School in Lira District, Uganda, in collaboration with Trident Youth Engagement. The training focused digital rights, online safety, and cybersecurity.
