I’m glad we decided to visit Chartwell in our recent trip to London. @katieculture.bsky.social’s book meant more. But a trip isn’t necessary. I’d definitely recommend Churchill’s Citadel. I loved it from the very beginning (the description of Hitler declining to meet Churchill) to the end.
