So after the entire... ordeal... with my saves. I am happy to report that we have take off, and Im back to enjoying this game again. Yay! And by enjoy, I mean sometimes cursing it beneath my breath.

It's going to be a pain i my ass to remove whatever curse is on Theo and Luna's Ravenwood apartment. Whatever is stuck to those tray files is exceptionally hateful. Imma do my best but I'm just too tired today.

I tested my games for about 12 hours today. Conclusion: All my saves are cursed. There is no where to rollback to. It's all bad. Time to exodus lots and families to a new save file.

I've been working exceptionally hard at work this week since I have been either on the road or hosting. 🖤🙃 But, I had a great dinner and a cartoon with the family. Sometimes with how fragile this game is- I think it's the universe just telling me to take a seat. Sigh.

Theodora placed her suitcase down, scanning the open space that while temporarily theirs should at least be somewhat liveable, “I do love a good makeover.” Luna gasped, “Are we having a montage again?!” “Probably a few nondescript time lapses.” “Oh yay!"

L: "Sure the decorative build bits may sky rocket the rent more than the holes in the walls make it worth… and if you hear humming from the walls? Well, the landlord said we will just have to think outside of ourselves before we put in a maintenance request.” T: “That’s what repairo is for.”

The door creaked open, letting out the same cry for desperation to be demolished the rest of the building seemed to have. “Is there a reason we decided to go…economical? With our first apartment, Luna?” “Oh. They all look like this here. This one was the nicest, not a single hole in the floor!”

Theodora cringed, “Scruberoo will only get us SO far when the rest of our trunks arrive. Besides, what even are those things?!” “Beneath the stairs?” Luna gasped, “I know! I had the same thought then I saw someone take laundry OUT of one.. but... it was unfolded.” “Oh, how ghastly!"

“You know, it definitely has character.” Luna waved her hand as they continued, “And amenities! Like-” “A community launderer? That’s why there’s a table with folded clothes? Right?” “Well, that wasn’t in the contract.” "They don't expect us to do it... right?" “My goodness, I hope not-”

The doors flung open into the lobby, “TA-DAAA!” She exclaimed. Her glee echoing as the unnamed pup barked and slid across the floor. The only response was a sickly cough loudly coming from a distant hallway. “How.. exotic?” Theodora feigned excitement, with the aid of genuine surprise.

“But if it ever became stale… It’snicetoknowyoumayhaveoptions.” Luna mumbled quickly before abruptly interrupting herself, “Now ARE you READY?! To see what independence looks like?!” T: “Gladly, but what was it you said before?-” “NEVERMIND THAT! IT’S TIME TO SEE OUR *FIRST* DREAM HOME!”

“Now, don’t you dare say boring.” “Well I wouldn’t say that!” Luna hesitated, deciding to reroute, “But I am glad you didn’t say yes. I think our contract here is going to be such an experience. It’s everything we’ve wanted! Everything we’ve worked for!” “Exactly!”

Luna pursed her lips quickly looking forward, "I don't know what you mean." "Luna, are you trying to lie to me?” Theo pressed, “If so I’m impressed, really.” "Well, it's just-" She waved her hands back and forth, "It may get-"

"As if." Theo balked, "We're here for the *ballet*, I have zero intention of running off to join the dark forces or whatever. I think I'd rather stay in the present I've worked hard for." Luna hummed, "Oh well okay!" "What's that about?" "What's what about?" "That-" "That what?" "You had a tone."

Theodora scoffed, “Don’t send that tramp of a man any money.” There was sharp barking in agreement to follow, “You’re right, I am so sorry I dared to even compare the two of you.” Theo looked down. “He’s not sooo bad.” Luna giggled, “Sooo did you accept the internship?”

T: “Great! That’s totally what happened.” Luna nodded as the pup ran in circles at their feet. She flipped through her notebook before finding a page and nodding firmly. “There it is.” “What is?” “I have to send Lou 10 simoleons because we didn’t make it a full day before something weird happened.”

She was hesitant to tell her the family tradition of supernatural nonsense had already begun... But, why not. "Would you believe me if I told you I was totally held hostage so Death could offer me an internship? And gave me a dog as thanks for freeing souls?" "Oh- Oh wow." Luna paused, "Probably."

"Yes, yes. We already have a dog. Sorry for the lack of warning, buuut I didn't really get one either." Luna, with a slump of her shoulders. "Oh it's fine!~ I don't think our landlord should care too much. Where'd you find him?" A complicated question. "He was a gift?" "From who-?"

The small dog let out an offended huff. Theo gasped, "High maintenance much? Because same. Look, I don't have much living-dog experience. Unless you count a super annoying werewolf man." "Oh Theooo!~" Luna interrupted, "Annnddog?" *ALERTED BARK!*

3 “I think I could get used to this.” Theo resolved to her new companion, “Oh, and I should probably name you.” *Bark Bark* “Eventually. We’ll get there.” She waved dismissively, “I’ve only ever raised a ghost dog, they don’t eat- and quite frankly I haven’t even seen where we are going to live.”

The cool air blew through the autumn leaves, their rustling ever so crisp as they shook. She took in the gentle silence and the morning light that illuminated the rich paints and old stone laid long ago. The wind carrying what sounded like tiny whispers through the eaves and archways.

"Well, that's enough of that." Theo released her frustration in a breath after an unexpected and thankfully brief encounter with Death. Below her the trotting of tiny paws eagerly hopped, his uneven ears flopping as his tongue hung out one side of his face.

Update: The event was boring, after purchasing all the things Norma looks like she has a Temu problem. Also, no one dislikes Norma more than Kipper. She doesn't make enemies often. But Kipper is *not* a fan.

Catching up on the new Nature is House Down Pussy Boots Slay Queen Event.. Anyway, Norma had to get a dog. Kipper hates us. And his eyes are tiny. He likes to stand at the edge of the lot and growl :)
