Each year, the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon inspires hope across #RedSoxNation. What started as one mission has impacted thousands of families over the years, all coming together to share their cancer stories and inspire those also dreaming to one day strike out cancer.

Luis was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has been in active treatment since 2016. Today, Luis is redefining what it means to life with a cancer diagnosis.

Hannah, 18, is in treatment for rhabdomyosarcoma. With the support of her family, friends, and the entire Jimmy Fund community, she's been able to keep a positive attitude throughout the challenges of her cancer treatment.

Graziella, a patient at Dana-Farber, enjoyed VIP treatment from new pal, Garrett Whitlock, during the Jimmy Fund Captain photo shoot this spring! Graziella and the Red Sox pitcher became fast friends as they explored the grounds at Fenway Park and had a heart-to-heart while taking photos together.

Finn, 8, recently visited @99restaurants.bsky.social in Plymouth, where he enjoyed a tasty lunch, met Wally the Green Monster, and made delicious memories.

PJ was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer, when he was just 3 years old. Today, he is cancer-free and looking forward to being back at school this fall.

Olivia, a patient in Dana-Farber's Jimmy Fund Clinic, and her family enjoyed VIP treatment from new pal, Garrett Whitlock, during a special visit to Fenway Park! Olivia explored the dugout, took photos, and created unforgettable memories with fellow Dana-Farber patients.

Last year, members of Bellevue Country Club came together to fundraise for @danafarber.bsky.social through the President’s Choice Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament. Their inspiration was Madison Cotton, a tournament committee member’s daughter, who was successfully treated for breast cancer at Dana-Farber.

“When our daughter, Abigail, was diagnosed with infantile fibrosarcoma at two months old, we felt like our world came crumbling down. We had so many questions. ‘Bone cancer of the chin? How can this be?’”
