For a costume party I needed a cool pipe. It turned out quite well. Guess who I am ;) For the glow and smoke I used a red and a yellow LED, and some loose cotton. I am amazed how well this trick turned out. #creativetoots #diy_electronics #papercraft #cosplay #maker #makerspace

Here is a DIY "reed switch" made from paper, conductive tape and two magnets. This version is very visual and for my use case definitely better than using a real reed switch.
