The turnout around the US (incl. very red areas) is/was amazing. The aerial footage from many cities is SO encouraging. I have to say that the very well-attended supportive protests around the world made me both thankful and sad in equal measure. We have let the world down & I feel it deeply.

Good for her and what I’m sure must have entailed working through her legit fear. And good for local police, who refused to ignore their basic training on the First Amendment and thereby protected this woman & her (& our) Constitutional rights.
