When I joined blue-sky asked what I liked. I ticked History, obviously, but also art. Since then I have endless manga drawings of Elves snogging! I have to confess that I had been hoping for something more on the lines of a nice commentary on Hans Holbien. Very confused! IS THIS A THING????

Desperately sad and struggling to comprehend a world without the distinctive voice that was Helen Snelson. But she lives on in the classrooms of countless history teachers ā in York, around Britain, across Europe ā profoundly touched by her exceptional care, courageous insight and boundless vision.

(For those who have abandoned twitter and might have missed this post) It is my sad job to tell you that my inspirational friend Helen Snelson died yesterday afternoon. I know how much she meant to so many of you and she was so grateful for your support and love these last few months.
