Been watching simpsons reruns on tv, and there’s a noticeable drop in quality in season 14. The stories had been getting more absurd and less coherent, but the hags were still funny. S14 feels noticeably stiffer. The framing and edits feel flat and the gags feel forced and too on the nose.

The Grace part in RE9 on insanity difficulty is peak survival horror, though it makes Leon sections seem trivial in comparison to the point that they feel like a completely different game now.

Finished RE9 and while Grace’s part was stellar, large parts of Leon’s were pretty weak. There were great moments, but a lot of it was killing the same two zombies in pee colored rubble.

The new Resident Evil is really something special.

I've been playing Mega Man X games, it's interesting how almost every game in the series is little worse than the last one. Mega Man X is so good, that all they could do was rearrange things, to make it feel fresh, and then they ended up relying on this stupid story build up that ruins everything.

Playing as the world’s most incompetent FBI agent sent on an assignment without a partner, to a case she has personal ties to is exactly the kind of dumb shit I expect and want from an RE game.

The national pension system is planning on outsourcing its work to an ai, and storing Finnish citizens personal information on Amazon servers, which is surely a sign that our decision makers aren't incompetent losers.

Animating a four frame pixel waterfall is mindbending. Even though you made it yourself and you know it's four frames, looping it and looking at one wave fall from top to bottom, your brain still sees it as one big motion. It's neat.
