Mina the Hollower was tonally a very strange game. I don't mean that as a negative. More like it has a vision I don't quite understand, but can appreciate. Blending tongue-in-cheek humor to everything, even during somber or dark moments.

They shouldn’t feel stupid, they should feel afraid of getting their fucking faces smashed in for wearing a wire.

I don’t have a problem with Mina the Hollower having a bittersweet ending, but it sort of shows what expectations games have conditioned me to expect since I had to google if I got the bad ending or not.

Eight page screenplay turned into a 26 pages of thumbnails. I can see why comics have their own format. In screenplays one pages translates roughly to one minute of screentime, so it's pretty easy to keep track of your act breaks and whatnot. No point here. Just interesting.

I think Mina the Hollower might've gone a little too far with their trinkets. The early parts felt like everything was stacked against you and it was frustrating. Then towards the thirs spire I felt like things were balancing out, after the third spire I'm invincible.

What I gathered here is that Basketball is like NYC’s ice hockey.

I wrote a short screenplay, ended up having narration in it that more resembles prose, then adapted it into a short comic and cut away huge amounts of text as redundant.

I like how Mina the Hollower absolutely doesn’t care how overpowered you can make yourself. I like it as much as Silk Song going to great lenghts to prevent that.

There's this one point in Parabola by Tool when listening to it on headphones, it makes it sound like someone is opening the door behind me, and it always freaks me out a little.

Out of curiosity checked out what threads is like, and it makes bluesky seem like an absolute paradise in comparison.

It's increasingly grating reading news reporting of Musk's completely impossible money sink dreams as if they are real, with no mention of the death and destruction he has caused from his place of power.
