If you actually watch the last 3 Star Wars films with an open mind they actually make a lot of sense, personally I enjoyed them and generally liked the characters, also looking forward to the next one about Rey and her future rebuilding the Jedi order.

The whole thing where Rey declares her name as Skywalker makes sense, Luke told her that her name or blood does not define her, her choices do, by choosing Skywalker she chooses the Jedi and Light and turns her back on her dark heritage. She chose her real family. #StarWars

#StarWars Ray's abilities actually make a lot of sense, unlike Luke, Ray was an orphan who scavanged and fought to survive, her instincts and fighting abilities where hard learned and grounded in reality, whereas Luke was a farmer with no real life experiences and a dreamer who had little patience.

#StarWars The scene where Leia hugs Ray following Hans death actually makes sense, Leia is at least partially trained as a Jedi and force sensitive, She knows Hans dead but she also senses the path before Ray and knows her dark heritage, the hug is not about loss, it's about compassion.

I'd posted a while back that my trusty old Xbox 360S had a power surge and damaged hdmi ports on monitor and soundbar etc, basically I traced it back to the power brick, anyway, got a replacement power brick from Amazon today and tried it, the 360 is running perfectly again 😁

#ModernWarfare3 fix on PS5 for physical copies, delete Cod app and reinstall PS4 version on your PS5, then once you access the app, scroll to games and install PS5 version of MW3. Activision have no interest in fixing this bug as they appear to want people to purchase the £65 digital version instead

Completed Modern Warfare 2 campaign and definitely enjoyed it, bit fed up now as physical copy of MW3 won't install on PS5 due to some licensing bug that Activision caused several months ago and haven't bothered fixing.

Currently finishing books my daughter bought me this Christmas, the first one "The Classic Science Fiction Collection" is a collection of short stories from the early 1900s and "Classic Tales of Science Fiction and Fantasy" which is a collection of novels from early 1900s

I will always prefer discs over digital for one simple reason, cost. I recently picked up the three Modern Warfare games just to play the campaigns which I do enjoy for around £25 all in, the same 3 games would cost me over £80 digital currently. #PhysicalGames

Well, that's this playthrough of #MassEffect trilogy completed, really enjoyed revisiting this game, and I dare say another playthrough will be had in the future and definitely before #MassEffect5 comes out.

So I watched #StarTrekAcademy and guess what? I actually enjoyed it, I grew up watching the Original series and remember when people complained the Next Generation was too glam and camp etc, Academy is Star Trek for a new generation, it's different and it's entertaining, no need to gatekeep folks.

Say what you want about the ending of Mass Effect 3, the beginning was one of the best I've ever seen in a game. #MassEffect

That's been an expensive blow out, as I said the other day, my trusty Xbox 360 power brick went bang and it cascaded the damage down the hdmi ports, a 4k splitter, my Sony soundbar and one of the hdmi ports on my monitor are all blown. Thankfully the other monitor and both my Series X and PS5 are ok

Watched Avatar Fire and Ash in cinema tonight, absolutely loved the film, definitely a darker turn for the series but so good, did not feel like near three and a half hrs, was shocked to realise it was over.

Well, damn, I plugged in my trusty old Xbox 360S and bang, the power brick blew, now I have problems with my Series X and Monitor, I think I'll try sorting tomorrow and too tired and fed up to think straight.

So I picked up #BulletStorm on Xbox a while back, damn but this game is brash, crude and funny as hell, sort of think Gears of War with really dodgy humour and alcohol, with a back story that strangely works. Played on PS3 back in the day and have to say this remaster is fun.

So, a while back I all but gave up on #BatmanArkhamKnight due to the really bad car controls which made certain missions very frustrating, then I realised you could drive in 1st player view and suddenly the controls seemed to work perfectly, which is kinda weird as default is 3rd person.

So Sony realised that multi platform would make them a shit ton of money and decided to run with it basically.

Had a few drinks with my wife and watched #Nobody and #Nobody2, sort of romantic Saturday night of gratuitous violence and mayhem, really enjoyed it.

Been offline for near a couple of months, mainly as I've been re-reading the entire Wheel of Time series, finally started book 14. Its definitely a marathon read.

Just played the first two Batman Arkham games and loved them, gameplay and controls really fun and tight, the third, Arkham Knight is sweet to look at, but the controls suck and too much emphasis on the Batmobile and tank battles, only played beginning and that's enough for me.Really disappointed 😭

I'm a die hard #Xbox fan, have been since the original Xbox and Halo Combat Evolved, but come on, next gen consoles at around £1k, no dedicated titles and no Gears 6 or new Halo titles, just more remasters, throw me a bone guys as I'm struggling to remember why I love my Xbox so much.
