Just did an hour-long interview on US options in Iran - from minesweeping and convoys to amphibious landings and SOF ops. Talking it all through - the lack of planning, the risk to troops and civilians, the dearth of logic - really hammered home the unbelievable stupidity of it all. I need a drink.
