On my way to work I was next to a car with an elderly lady in it, probably in her 80s or so, who was puffing away on a cigarette with her windows rolled up, and then I got behind her to turn and saw that her license plate was "KJVONLY" which I assume means King James Version Only. Incredible.

I got a Starbucks oat milk drink from the gas station, took a few sips and wondered why it tasted off, then checked the date to see it expired OVER A YEAR AGO. Thank God it was oatmilk instead of real milk and I only took a few small sips. Ugh.

I miss my partner so bad I was genuinely contemplating skipping work and getting a "warning" in order to drive 10 hours to see them soon and meanwhile they took off work to hang out with a 'friend' today and that friend ghosted. I hate watching them get neglected by other people like this.

My lil injured kitten has found a place to go! The local no-kill shelter has offered to take him in for me on Tuesday. They've had special needs cats in there before and currently have a CH baby too so they're a good place for this little boy to go! Yay!

I kid you not, I took in the injured kitty today and just now realized my youngest cat is missing. I did have my cousin over this morning to haul away some trash and I thought I was cautious about shutting my cats away in another room so they wouldn't get out but apparently I didn't succeed in that.

Taking in a paralyzed kitten that had been previously hit by a car was not on my list of things to do today but it is in fact what was done. I am NOT keeping it but I am getting it help until someone else can take the little baby. It's an older injury so luckily I can avoid the emergency vet.

I have an interview next week with a nonprofit organization that is one of my dream kind of places to work. They're also very LGBTQ+ affirming and they have great benefits and pretty good pay. The position itself is something I haven't done directly but I have indirect experience. I want it so bad!!

I've literally gotten almost zero sleep because one of my stupid freaking cats wouldn't give up scratching at my house mate's bedroom door and they absolutely refused to let him in. He's done it on and off for FOUR HOURS NOW and they finally just let him in. I have to be up in 1.5 hours for work.

I survived a trip to the laundromat that included screaming children whose mom was also screaming at them to stop (and cussing them out while doing so), along with an adult who had to watch Judge Judy on her tablet at full blast while folding her clothes. Also way too many speakerphone convos.

I've been working on packing this weekend and while 89 degrees is better than the 99 or more it has been, it still is way too hot for all this lifting and sorting and moving in a room that does not have AC or a fan in it. I keep having to do it in 15 minute shifts.

I read it for the first time this year and my partner is planning a Frankenstein deep-dive podcast before too long as they are a long time lover of it all. I can't deny, I do love this story a lot.

One of my coworkers is wearing so much perfume that I can smell her from multiple cubicles away, to the point that I have a migraine and am having asthma issues. I need a gas mask to get through work today.

Let's be even more clear here, she was only released because her husband had connections and money and was able to quickly fight for her release. Had this not been the case she may have disappeared into the system forever. This is human trafficking, nothing less.

I miss the days when my ADHD wasn't so freaking out of control that it let me sit and read books. These days if I try to read I fall asleep or get super antsy. Audio books and podcasts are my go-tos now but I miss print and ebooks!!

Spending the evening in the ER over this God forsaken toothache is so not how I wanted to spend this evening. The weather is even nice! I just wanted to pack things and be productive today!

My partner is who helped me to realize this. We're both autistic but I've gotten used to masking far more and they have not and therefore do not mask nearly as much. It confused me at first and then I realized how much it made me love them even more. They make life more fun ❤️

I've taken the max safe amount of Tylenol and Ibuprofen plus a tramadol and my tooth is still killing me. The whole right side of my face and neck hurts. I'm on my second round of antibiotics, this time a stronger one, and I'm still getting no relief. I am so tired of having teeth at this point.

Instead of melting to death in my house I decided to come hang out at a local coffee shop for a few hours and currently the only hot thing is my stupid laptop lol. I have to go back home and melt soon though 😭

I'm glad I spent $60 to go back to the urgent care I was already at 3 weeks ago so I could get stronger antibiotics since the first ones didn't work, only to leave and sit at my pharmacy for half an hour and realize that they just never called in the prescription. So helpful, really.

I went to get my tire aired up and the guy at the shop barely spoke any English which isn't the problem, the problem is that he kept asking for my phone number and NOT for professional reasons. My entire guy, we can barely understand each other and also, I did not come to a business to be harassed.

I cleaned a small chunk of a cluttered room in my house today as part of my "slowly pack the house over the course of a month" journey and while no actual packing was done I made room to put plastic totes once they've been packed. Anyway, be proud of me please, it was like 110 degrees in that room.

I tried to take advantage of the rainy weather to work on packing the side of my house that does not have air conditioning (long story, old house) but for the life of me I couldn't accomplish much because I'm realizing all I own is 5 million clothes, a couple dressers, and lots of boxes.

Also on my way home while stopping at a tiny gas station in the middle of nowhere central Arkansas I accidentally got gendered correctly by a random older, very redneck guy with a rebel flag sticker on his truck. It was the weirdest gender euphoria ever lol.

Coming back home from spending a weekend with my partner is the most depressing thing. I miss them so much 😭 I just gotta keep reminding myself that I'll be moving there soon. Maybe within the next month if I get lucky!

I am both excited and a bit nervous about the announcement that Brennan will be DMing CR Campaign 4. I know OF Brennan but not really anything else other than he is in other shows. But he does seem like a cool dude. Man, a campaign without Matt as the DM is going to be so weird.
