We managed 7 new lifers in 2025, all in Wales. Highlight were the Aberavon Sabine Gulls, a long wanted species, followed by Desert Wheatear at Pendine and the recent Scops Owl. Couple of hours wait were rewarded when the female Smew swam into view at Llangorse Lake, just before dusk.
