𝗖𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗟 - 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗘 Time may have run out for the 𝗖𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 on W Tennessee St (opened 1951). A few weeks ago we noticed all the doors and windows had been boarded over, and this morning an excavator was parked in front. And while we were grabbing these (final?) snaps its driver arrived...

𝗦𝗜𝗥 𝗩𝗔𝗖 We love this little guy! He was once on the Sir Vac sign on 17-92 in Fern Park (N Orlando), but that location was demolished and rebuilt when the hiway was expanded, and Little Sir didn't make the new aesthetic.

𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗖 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗟 One of the few remaining mid-century motels in Villano Beach, FL, we heard today that the owners have filed for a demolition permit and will replace it with townhouses. 😡 These pics are from 2017.
