I want to give a thank-you card to the doctors and nurses in the ECT department at the hospital. I'm six treatments in and already feeling more centred and grounded and calm, and this is amazing to me. Would a card be weird? I realize they're just doing their job, but it's fixing my life

So I'm off work for my ECT treatments. I'm supposed to be getting short term disability pay, but nobody will tell me how to get the supervising shrink to fill out the attending physician's report, so my insurer hasn't processed my claim yet. Rent is due tomorrow and I don't have it. 😬

It's been 10 years since I got my semicolon tattoo. Friday I started ECT for my treatment resistant major depressive disorder. That little tattoo helped me get through the last ten years to get to this point. Hopefully the ECT gets me through the next ten, and beyond. My story's not over yet

The depression is kicking my ass. My door dash is sitting in the hallway outside my apartment door but I can't muster up the strength to get up and go grab it.

I bought a "gaming" laptop 2.5 years ago. I didn't know shit about computers. But I started learning. I added a TB hard drive to it after realizing 256 GB was not going to work. I then upped the RAM from 8GB to 32. But now I've learned I only have 4GB VRAM and that ain't gonna cut it.
