Before the College Football Playoffs ( #CFP), we had bowl games. This gave athletes, marching band, fans, etc. a few fun-filled days in a sunny place. And it was fun TV. An overlooked benefit was it assured that (unlike basketball) about half the teams would win their last game. RIP bowl games. 😭
