Saw a tiktok about urban herding so I packed up the poles and trekked to the field. I’m probably doing it wrong but we’re just winging it to be honest. Half an hour of this and Bine was pooped. He’s been sleeping since 2pm (4 hours ago)

So lucky to be gifted with a dog that shares my passion for scentwork. This would be so much harder if he hated it.

A year ago I posted on Facebook looking for a field to train in regularly. A lady messaged me offering an hourly hire. Fast forward to March and I asked if she’d rent it to me on a sole use basis. SHE SAID YEAH. Bimne now has his very own field. And she also put a nice bench in for us. WIN.

I took Bine on a larger search a week or so ago. The grass isn’t seeding so I thought eh he doesn’t need the rex specs. Search complete, got home and realised he had a half-inch thorn sticking out of his face. Eeeek. Specs are going to be standard issue now.

When you can't just come out and say to the random dogsledder you found online in 2017 "hey so you changed my entire life for the better and altered its course to go wildly in a direction I couldn't have ever predicted, and I will never be the same person again" so you just say "thanks i guess"
