As much as I’ve finally enjoyed Wicked (books and movies), it took me awhile to get into it. OTOH, “Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister” grabbed me right off. It’s a much better re-telling of a classic fairy tale. Wish someone would make an adaptation from it. Loved the Dutch Tulip Scam history in it.

Got a book on Tunisian crochet. I’ve been crocheting for most of my life but never tried this technique. I’m enjoying it. Did a sample of the simple stitch. Now in the middle of doing the knit stitch. I can see I’m also going to also enjoy getting hooks that I am comfortable using.
