An out of control image, an identity crisis.

Jun took hold of the girl's wrist and removed her hand off her chest. Then, while still holding onto her face with her other hand, Jun gently pushed the blonde back. "I doubt that very much. I think I'll take my chances without your help."

"What am I up against? Sometimes I can't believe something is capable of this. Even more haunting is what I have to become in order to stop this monster?"

"I shouldn't let myself get carried away, but it feels so liberating."

She looked down at that hand and where it was placed. When the blonde began to purse her lips, Jun reached out and caught the girl by the face, squeezing her cheeks between her fingers. "That's an unusual method... Are you sure you're doing this right?"

"Most are born with the genetic mutation. Having it, doesn't mean it will trigger a transformation. Being near another who does transform could trigger it, as well as extreme stress."

Every so often, Jun comes across humans hunting down devilmen. Their fear of such different beings makes them act irrationally, turning them into the true aggressors. Humans are often more demon-like than the creatures they fear.
