This is what a real warrior is, she considers as she comes down from the bliss of bloodshed. It doesn't take long before the blood coating her hands feels thick and cumbersome, slick and disgusting. She shudders at the realization that she could ever feel such joy from this.

Her conscience subsides and her body takes action, reacting on impulse. To know such malice was always in her power frightens her. This thing she's become is unrecognizable as her former self.

A battle of beasts ends when one proves the most hellish. Is this a victory to even be proud of?

It's necessary to keep in top shape. These efforts here will prepare her for what's coming. As the weights clink and rattle on the bar with every raise, her mind is occupied with the thought of finding a beast far stronger than the last.

Now she sees just how well adapted her body is to any scenario. Land or air, she doesn't need to rely on any piece of equipment like humans do to survive. Maybe she should have accepted this bodily change a lot sooner.

An out of control image, an identity crisis.

Jun took hold of the girl's wrist and removed her hand off her chest. Then, while still holding onto her face with her other hand, Jun gently pushed the blonde back. "I doubt that very much. I think I'll take my chances without your help."
