Part of how the Secretary of Education can ensure states have information on best practices is to invest in data and research. This administration has all but decimated the Institution of Education Sciences. That support to states, that McMahon said she wants to offer, is gone.

A child's ability to learn is shaped by so many things, among them food security and early childhood education - @frankel.house.gov These are programs this administration hopes to cut.
