My cousin used to know everyone in the neighborhood and I think my granny thinks I operate the same way. I don’t. I mind my business. I GO TO WORK. I am not home all day.

Everytime my granny comes over here she comments on the people outside and I’m like idk who they are. Never see them before in my life. I HAVE A JOB. I work full time. I am not home enough to know who stays home during the DAY.

I know these folks in this complex don’t know NUTHIN about a job cuz everytime I come home it’s hard to find parking. 🥴 Point is I don’t know the neighbors.

I don’t concern myself with the neighbors. I mind my business. I’m also AT WORK or TRAVELING. What EYE DO KNOW is that the clientele has changed and it may be time to move because it’s becoming too crime ridden.

Idk why my granny thinks I know every man in this complex I live in. I keep telling her I don’t know the neighborhood woman. I stay inside my house. I don’t even know who my next door neighbor is.

I’m drinking decaf coffee with Baileys cuz I did not want to run to the store for coffee creamer. It’ll be okay.

I ran out of coffee creamer. I opened a bottle of Baileys to add. It’ll be fine.

This is one of those times where I’m so glad I’m a morning person. Cuz if I hadn’t checked those wings just now and just got up at 8 or 7 am to start cooking I would have never known they were frozen and I would have been more PISSED.

So I had my sister stop by a meat market while she was in LA to grab some turkey wings. She finally came home last night with them but I was already asleep. I’m just now waking up at 4am to get started on them and tell me why they’re frozen 🥴🥴🫠🫠 They’re FROZEN.

It’s the worst position to be a teacher to your colleagues child. So we have this student & the teacher is really struggling with him. I personally believe he just isn’t ready cuz he is an absolute TERROR. His mom who is a kinder teacher at the school refuses to allow him to receive services.

I wanna have good days at work but I don’t know how to get there.

Today was just a day where I was reflecting on how tough of a year this has been for me work wise and I just need a break.

Came home and made me a nice hot beverage with a lil bit of Irish cream cuz I need it.

I cried at work today and another teacher found me it was horrible. I have a few difficult students and it’s just not worth the mental anguish

So listen there are 2 white teachers, 1 Hispanic & 2 POC teachers NOT BLACK & they all told me that as a grade level they celebrate Thanksgiving by dressing up as Pilgrims & Native Americans & that they would all be dressing up. 🥴🥴🥴 Uhhh am I crazy or is that too close to cultural appropriation?
