The orchestrator is super intuitive and PS1 looks are easily achievable. I like it even more than in Unreal, much less stuff to turn off. I stick to Godot, it’s official. Diving into practice and learning. #godot

Using Orchestrator and really love it! But have a question if there's anyone using it. How do you check if Node is an Orchestrator class name In my case there's an orchestration with class Skeleton, but if I'll check for class directly it will return Node 3D of course. #godot #orchestrator

If someone uses AI to make picture, I believe this person don’t enjoy drawing. Uses for game dev - not enjoying game dev. Same for music, code, 3D etc. I really think that the best stuff we get from people who have fun creating it, who love the process, however slow or hard it may be sometimes.

Reading about Godot drama with AI, I think more and more about just stick to one version without updating. But I think Godot maintainers are superhuman. Checking thousands of PRs in the era of slop, when you don’t want vibe coded shit in your project must be frustrating as hell for them.

Godot is awesome, I found my new home. I like how intuitive the engine is, yet I see how I can make some complex stuff with it. Some rotation/translation beginner stuff with cubes, it's always fun to start from scratch when the software is responsive and intuitive. #godot

Finished Eternal Castle It's an interesting experience, there were a few frustrating moments where I felt like I need random to bless me, but these were too rare to ruin the experience. Style is awesome, so as animations, really liked how weapons feel and overall gameplay.

Well, recent UE news making me thinking more about switching to Godot. I really love visual programming so will check the Orchestrator and if I can replicate PS1 look in Godot. If both =true then switch, else cry.

Just finished Who's At The Door It was scary and fun :D There are so many anomalies that I met duplicate only once (!) in the whole game (which is 24 days if you play perfectly, that I didn't :D) At first it's hard to understand what counts as anomaly, but the answer is EVERYTHING except the room.

A few years ago I tried Obsidian and the only thing it lacked for me were data bases. Guess what, there are databases now! Switched completely from Notion. Local DB, no AI, so clean and fast, I’m happy with my info storage now. GDD and task tracking for my project are now also obsidianized :D

Watched several interviews with devs and decided to postpone the purchase, until it’ll have planned DLCs and I will have time for almost infinite game :D Will probably buy ROUTINE instead.

Came back to this song from The Greatest Showman And you know, it literally describes my life as a game designer, a kid that played on PS1 and instantly knew that I want to materialize my dreams into the games. Years passed and now I have skills and relative financial stability to make my own game.

Played Crank it! That's a creepy game for sure. Highly recommend to try it. In it you have to crank the handle to recharge the batteries and use those batteries to both: protect yourself and get the elevator running to get out of the mines. Finished Parasite Eve Last boss is a nightmare 4 phases, the third one felt immortal on the first run really. And after the boss there’s a chase sequence that you can fail easily. #ParasiteEve

Both actors got replaced in the latest games. Both games haven’t had sequels for like 10 years. And they met in Rainbow six, but this moment in the trailer warms my heart for some reason and gives me chills. I just see it separate from siege, as a treat for my young self, playing on ps2 back then.

I didn’t know that seeing and hearing Michael Ironsides Sam Fisher greet and handshake David Hayters Snake will slam me so far back into the past, when I played both game series and adored them a lot.

Holy shit! Silent Hill: Townfall looks incredible! I’ve been waiting for its trailer since Konami announced that No Code will be doing SH game, their Stories Untold and Observation are awesome story-driven games. But Townfall looks like a true new Silent Hill, wow, exceeded all the expectations!

One small planet so to speak. Feeling existential crisis breathing into my back when looking at it. And thinking about last year in which I shared only one 3D model not even related to my game. Holy stars, I definitely need to wrap all my job related tasks and do more for my game indeed.

Completed Majora’s Mask. There was so much fun stuff in this game, some frustrating moments (Goron trial and goron race are freaking cursed) and I enjoyed playing it so much OMG #TheLegendofZelda

Retro Achievements can be cruel Just got the last mask in the Majora’s Mask, 2 achievements pop, but I didn’t notice that internet went off while I was playing, so they didn’t sync. Sadly enough you can’t obtain them again T_T Well, anyway it’s time to beat the game!
