I'll add on to this since it's great and a lot of the people are likely to be indie/aspiring game dev. You can have personal goals. In fact it is insanely advantageous for you to have them. It makes it easier to work with other people when you share them and can even be a source of inspiration.

Another year of CLOL comes to an end for me. A 2-3 record is definitely an improvement over last year's withdrawal, but much more lateral than previous 1-5-year records would indicate. Looking to keep energy up like every year. Grateful for the people I got to work with.

Currently trying to split my waking hours between The OG Outer Worlds and Avowed replays before the release of TOW2. Then I remembered Dispatch releases tomorrow. Busy week.

Writing a play is great. Because when I submit it, one guy *has* to read it. And if he likes it, some other people have to produce it. If he doesn't, then that still means that he read it.

Finished Avowed on the eve of full release. I wanted to reserve myself until I had played it once. I really like it. As a fan of Pillers of Eternity and many of the people working on the game, I am presently unsurprised. I hope that everyone involved can get some rest soon.

An incredibly interesting video on an interestingly incredible game. Titanfall 2 and @anyaustin.bsky.social are the gifts that keep on giving.

There is something about pop stars having some more rock/punk elements in their music that just scratches my brain in the right way. Big reminder relistening to Ashnikko's discography in light of Paint the Town Blue. While I enjoy most of her work there is just some extra juice from those guitars.

Every year I wait with anticipation for when it hits -40 so that when asked "In what measure?" I can laugh in their face.
