Thinking of completing the London classics. It will be bloody tough, but I have done the marathon, so just cycle 100 miles and swim 2 to do. Shall I or not before my body gives up??

I had a lovely day yesterday. Parkrun with friends, then my handyman did some jobs for me then off to a local free festival and met a couple of friends. Before you ask yes I made a good donation! What a lovely day. Today I’m reading my book and housework.

I went to Rome a few years ago, and went to Mass with the Pope. You have to apply to your embassy in Rome, and if lucky get a ticket. I did. I am sadened by his death.

4 weeks ago I fell really badly on my shoulder while running. It still hurts but I just moved my arm and my shoulder clunked so loudly it was scary. I really hope that was a good sign of less swelling or something….

Been feeling down today. Went for a walk and sat on a bench. As soon as I sat a Robin sat next to me and sang a song then sat on my hand and looked at me then flew away. Now I am smiling! Thanks Mr Robin

Today I had to find a certificate of my exams I passed, I thought, a few years ago. Turns out it was 1998... Now I feel so very very old, especially as that particualr City and Guilds certificate no longer exsists..... 😂. Just wait... Old age will get you all.

I was going to have a lazy afternoon but I’ve done the washing. Changed the beds. Cleaned the oven. Cleaned the house and fed the birds. Went and fed the ducks too which are a little walk away. I better sleep tonight. Insomnia sucks
