The waiting room at Saxmundham station has been turned into a community space thanks to a £6.5K grant from Greater Anglia’s Customer & Community Improvement Fund. The project, spearheaded by the East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership, brought together schoolchildren, poets, and artists.

We're here in #Nottingham for the annual @communityrail.bsky.social conference. 120 people have turned out from across Britain to share ideas about making the railway network more accessible, station adoption, rejuvenating redundant railway buildings, and boosting tourism by promoting rail travel.

It was terrific meeting folks today at the Edible Felixstowe 'Grow, Cook, Eat Festival' at Great Eastern Square. The best in local food/drink, veg/seed exchange and entertainment.
