What a great day out for 30 Ukrainian refugees as we hopped on the train at #Ipswich to Visit Felixstowe! Santa & Community Rail Officer Thalia handed out head bobbles and mince pies on board. At #Felixstowe we met the Mayor, enjoyed skating, bouncing wires, bouncy cats, snow disco, dj and more.

A look at some of the work that took place earlier in November to make vital improvements to the East Suffolk Line. This includes replacing worn out jointed rail and repairs to two bridges. The work continues at the weekend into mid December. @suffolksnaps.bsky.social

The waiting room at Saxmundham station has been turned into a community space thanks to a £6.5K grant from Greater Anglia’s Customer & Community Improvement Fund. The project, spearheaded by the East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership, brought together schoolchildren, poets, and artists.
