A quick video update.

Sunrise at Jackson Earth

I am having a sign made for Pepe Station so all visitors know the story.

Rebekah shared that when we had to catch our flight, everything left was crammed in Pepe station. Today she organized what she could. We still have instruments to connect and more but it went from being a hot mess to an organized and consolidated space.

The alarms went off and behold this truck appeared over the hill. Much respect for Rebekah. She took time off to visit family and off-road community, and completed some upgrades and maintenance to her truck; now she is back at the weather station to finish and to help out. So grateful!

Christmas Day, another visit, this is a very quick 2 day trip to try and get some things back on track. In the meantime, I have added the “pizza box” instructions on fixing the soil - by April next year, we should see changes on camera. Click the instructions link jacksonerp.org/transplant-p...

Eye opening Going through receipts for costs: - legal - filing fees - services - heavy equipment work - container - build supplies - shipping - towing rescue - travel, fuel - other services It cost 3k to build but 2025 expenses so far add up to $32,100 to start Jackson as an NPO. #dedication

Cold, rain and misty

A couple of Ravens have been hanging out. They are known as Watchers and the Messengers: In the Arizona desert, the raven is seen as a guardian of the landscape and a bearer of ancient knowledge, not from books, but from the natural world. Kind of cool that they have an interest in what we do.

Play time

Seeking volunteers in every state to share our Legacy Tree program with their local news stations. If interested please let us know. Social media is useful but adding local stories on TV can open many more doors. We will arrange the station interview in your state.

pepe luncheon with Rebekah and Mike. was feeling down, but Rebekah suggested a lunch so we gathered and it did make me feel better. still cannot believe how hard they worked on the build. so proud of them.

flight home was long, when I landed, Rebekah sent images. Mike and Rebekah stayed to finish as much as they could until the sun went down. I am in awe of their determination.

What was accomplished? metal roof Solar fan drip edge flashing stained board rows first started will mix mortar (stone later) Tomorrow we leave at 1130. still a long way from finishing. Mike also got a flat so we have to replace a tire.

missing from my list was: 1) gutter and cistern connection 2) shade cloth install We missed a critical deadline for water delivery. the only hope is to use some water crystals amendments - hope for rain or the next visit to come back for a burial. if these trees die, let them die with dignity

Continued… 10) add camera in new spots Saturday morning we have to leave no later than 1130am not sure if our flight we even depart, heard about the 10 percent f issue today at the end of the day. so we have tomorrow and part of Saturday. fingers crossed that we do not have any more delays.

update only 1.4 days remaining. the delay cost us so much that could have been accomplished. Baby steps, we will get there and let’s just see how the end of the day goes today.
