i think about this constantly, both as a creator and as a parent, and the need for boredom to facilitate the mind’s creativity. not just limited to phones, but to streaming of shows that can be watched at any time

caught Nosferatu at a late showing last night. while it definitively delivered for me, i feel its not eggers strongest work. i did enjoy how far the horror was pushed, but im always left wanting more from a body horror direction, esp considering all of the mind control stuff
