I hope SF6 eventually adds an option to get characters individually. I would've bought multiple characters by now if I didn't have to pay almost double just to get one. I don't want to buy multiple characters at once just because that's my only option

With Hat kid released in Fraymakers (and me learning Rivals 2 lately) I decided to boot up Fray and give it a try and it's fun! Definitely still rough around the edges on some things though but its Early Access and half the price of RoA2 so I'd recommend it if this is your thing. Has mods too.

Calling it now, the next Smash bros will be the first time they add a character outside of the protagonist purely because the protag this time is using a lance. That being said, it looks like the next FE might be a 'multiple protags' situation maybe so we'll see how it works.

Sorry, but does 2XKO really not give the option to queue up for duos with a random person? You couldn't in the beta I played, but is it STILL not in the full launch? That would help with on-boarding new people so much to be able to do that. It is straight up baffling if its still not there.

With Multiversus dead, I wanted to share my thoughts on the characters in the game. The game had some interesting ideas and I feel people are gonna assume the game was just kinda bad across the board when it was mostly the monetization that sunk the game.

I hope assist-based fighters keep the trend of keeping assists multifaceted and useful across the cast. Something that irked me about MvC3 and BBTAG is some characters just had bad assists. I feel like all that does is limit who they can be paired with and doesnt affect them on point at all.

Heres an idea, SNK. If you're not gonna give people a training mode, AT THE VERY LEAST give a tutorial mode that lets you go over every character's movelist. I've seen some mission modes literally start with every special move in order and that would do SO MUCH if you dont want us to actually lab

So a bit ago, I saw a post here talking about characters who can resist the One Ring and I've never watched Lord of the Rings so this lead me to do a tiny bit of research as it suit me From my best guess, Eiji Hino from Kamen Rider Ooo would be immune to the ring, and most Precure could resist it.

Okay if anyone ever wants to act like a character being 'obscure' means they're objectively a bad choice in a fighter, just know I saw someone was modding in Saki from TvC into UMvC3 and I not only popped off but completely forgot about the frustration I was feeling in Hades immediately.

The thing most frustrating about Multiversus to me is that WBGames probably doesnt understand why it failed. The monetization squeezes playtime and engagement so hard, you get burnt out very easily. But it seems they assume its cause the devs 'didnt make the game fun enough'

Sometimes I remember and appreciate how Copy Kitty did its lore. Most of it is told in bite sized chunks, both in-game and in extras, and for the enemies specifically, they keep the descriptions short Lots of Indies just do PAGES of lore for EVERYTHING so I like how this game kept it easy to follow
