I wanted to show off my surgical scars through my persona, because honestly, I’m proud of my body for surviving those surgeries. It’s been through hell and back, but it’s still going strong.

I wanted to draw Teagan in the outfits of some of the characters that actually inspired her creation, and I started with the heaviest influence. I think my heaviest influence, for sure, was Starfire and Blackfire from DC. Also her third eye has a habit of disappearing when it closes. #monstergirl
