Just got word: another Garrett Graff audiobook I edited is up for Book of the Year (Audio Publishers Association). That's 3 for 3 now. Turns out great source material + talented actors + solid editing makes for award-worthy audiobooks 😜 But seriously this book is worth the listen.

Stop looking at the analytics. They won't tell you what to make. They just tell you what the algorithm wants. Make what moves you instead.

When sending something to a client and you're not sure it's good: remember it's your first draft, not your final answer. Their feedback will tell you what's working. You learn more from their feedback than from spiraling alone. It's just a conversation starter.

Stop letting other people's opinions kill your ideas before you even try them. Those people that shit on your ideas also shit on themselves when they were kids. Just like everyone. If the creation brings you joy, keep doing it.

Officially cancelled Spotify. Moving to records and Bandcamp to support artists I love directly. We'll see how it goes. Hardest part will be audiobooks. I've been using Spotify since Audible is annoying and overpriced. Anyone have better audiobook solutions?
