Monitoring water quality in our lab is an important step to ensure our treated effluent meets treatment standards before being released back into the Potomac.

🚧 Progress Alert! We toured the superstructure site for a construction update. This new facility connects the Waterfront Tunnel to AlexRenew's facility. It also houses the coarse screen and pump station designed to accept combined sewage from the Waterfront Tunnel and begin the treatment process.

Starting July 1, 2025, wastewater rates are changing. As part of our newly adopted budget, rates will increase by 5.0% this year and by 5.7% on July 1, 2026. These adjustments support continued investment in critical infrastructure that protects our community and the environment.
