The move is going well so far. We're doing a little at a time, and we're doing mass decluttering while we're doing it. This is pleasing everyone in the Blain Household. The kitties are confused, but they're getting a lot of petting and cuddling, so they've determined it's a Good Thing.

Sadly, the trail was closed to foot traffic partway through, but I made it this far, and I would have gone farther if only!!

Progress is happening!! This was absolutely the hell rough as hell, but I am doing better. It still hurts, but I am able to push through. No weight loss yet, but I can definitely tell there is a lot of muscle gain happening.

Everything hurts. This is the fastest and farthest I can currently walk, and I'm paying for it head to toe. But I did it, so that's something.

I thought about posting something, but the reality is this: the people it would be directed towards lack empathy, and as such, I would be wasting my breath. The people who already know this already know. Nothing changes. But fuck, this year has been a complete cluster so far.

Ow. I am not having a good time trying to get healthy.

We got the new apartment! So relieved. We get to escape the nightmare downstairs. She keeps accusing us of stuff we're not doing, which is highly irritating. Like... I don't want apartment management calling me on a holiday because this woman is complaining about something we didn't even do.

We applied for a new apartment. Larger, better location, and while more expensive, i suspect better neighbors… not a high bar to reach right now, though.

This week has been surreal. Kobo failed to launch Partner in Crime. (Fixed.) There is a problem with Amazon’s Light in the Dark reviews. No idea what is what with that. My anxiety is running wild. Bomb cyclone is making life windy. Only good news? I bought cake. I plan to eat my feelings.

Ah, yes. I had a fridge full of ecoli carrots. Now I have no carrots and much sadness. And now I really want carrot cupcakes. The carrot cupcakes I really like? Made with ecoli carrots. (More accurately, the bakery that makes them uses that brand of carrot.) No ecoli carrot cupcakes for me.

All I have done today is work, clean, and fifteen minutes of #WorldofWarcraft. In good news, I managed to bag a mount in those fifteen minutes of play time, but oof... today has been rough. In good news, the #book I'm drafting is a few sentences from being done, which means FREEDOM soon. #writing

I have officially graduated as an adult. I managed to package, prepare, measure, and weight three items for three different people in two different countries without an anxiety fueled meltdown. I have severe postal anxiety. I do not know why. I can't remember anything that caused it. Anxiety = dumb

I had extensive dental work done today. I'm crying, my wallet's crying, there's just crying everywhere. And my digestive system does... interesting... things when my anxiety spikes to hell, which it does in dental offices. There is just so much crying going on right now. (And it hurts.)

This is an excellent summary of my week: my cat peed on my in-progress crochet project. It is merino wool. Rippitrippitrippit, soaksoaksoak… cry. Start again, with untainted yarn. Yuck. If the smell every comes out of the wool, I will repurpose it for something else… like a cat blanket.

I have begun the tedious process of organizing my #boardgame collection in my apartment. Yes, Risk Godstorm is still new in box, and I just got it in today. Chaos in the Old World is my favorite board game, and I love it so much I may have ordered a second copy. Fury of Dracula is also a favorite!

If you are on a Mac laptop and have Adobe installed, bar creative cloud from running in the background. It is a battery hog. My laptop’s batter life went from no more than 6 hours using Scrivener to 16 hours just from turning that off. Oy.
