Tried watching a really popular TV show and did not like it at all, so I’ve decided to re-watch #WonderShowzen again. Insane then. Insane now. Insane forever.

Fascinating article by Jonas that shows how much of a corporate entity the #Leafs are - this story is very similar to my own experience in a very corporate role. But, I’d be curious to know much of the medical analysis boils down to “younger players get hurt less often” and the Leafs are old now?

I’m watching #Borat for the first time in forever, and jeez I forgot how utterly ruthless it is.

There’s a lot of stuff I didn’t enjoy in this season of #StrangerThings (why cast Linda Hamilton if she’s not going to say/do anything?), but ultimately I found the ending very moving & satisfying. Also, they will absolutely reboot that sucker in the next 10 years when other projects don’t work. 🤷🏻

This season of #StrangerThings is jarring in how much I really like about half of it, but also how much I really cannot stand the other half (the unnecessary military as a secondary villain subplot, the inclusion of the awful failed spinoff from season 2). Shame they couldn’t self edit better…

I enjoyed #AEWWorldsEnd because I didn’t think about my aching face for the better part of four hours. Middle tier show for AEW, elevated by own personal pain.

“Cousin Planet” from #SNL last night was fun for a lot of reasons, but maybe the most interesting one was how clearly it tapped into nostalgia for The Lonely Island era digital shorts. Definitely an era to take influence from, even if it makes me feel 100 years old.

Just finished the newest batch of #StrangerThings episodes. In hindsight, knowing how big of 80s nerds the Duffer brothers are, we should have always known this would end up as another riff on The X-Men? (Mostly enjoyed the episodes!)

Completely enthralled by this #MapleLeafs team. First time in a decade that they’ve had a legitimately bad team, and don’t seem headed for the playoffs. Makes me feel nostalgic of all the awful teams I watched in my 20s!!!
