Our final Big Read of the term will take place next Tuesday. Year 9 History students will explore an article marking the 80th anniversary of the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This article from the Guardian links directly to their study of key events in World War II.

Please note that the school will be closing early on Thursday 11th December, due to the Year 8 Subject Teacher Meetings taking place. Year Groups 7 - 11 finish at 1.40pm and Year Groups 12 - 13 finish at 2.30pm (if students have a Period 6).

It's nearly time for our next Big Read. In French lessons next Tuesday, Year 8 students will be reading a translated edition of the French book “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

One of our Year 7 STEAM groups is already on their third project! They are super determined and resilient. Today we submitted our @britishcouncil.bsky.social Learning Sectors project, a challenge set by our partner schools in India.

In STEAM news... Our Year 7s Nicole, Thomas and Freddie have been completing the Ocean Health Challenge, run by @ucl.ac.uk. The team, with support from their Year 12 ambassadors Arthur, Vanessa and Nana, have made a blanket prototype from waste crisp packets and textile off-cuts.

Late Start for Students Students will start school at 8.50am on Thursday 20th November 2025, as teachers will be giving feedback on the work they have been doing on Instructional Coaching in their groups of three between 8.20am – 8.50am.

Students will be expected to go straight to their tutor group rooms at 8.50am for registration. Year 11 students should attend their Year 11 Intervention groups at 8.50am for registration. Thank you for your support.
