Day 25 of #advent So an overview Only 1 seasonal themed figure was a bit of a disappointment Can't complain at quantity of figures and the quality was good if a little on the small scale Variety was definitely thin on the ground, no female characters and not much in the way of different races

Day 24 of #advent And what surprises were kept to the last day.. 2 brigand/cutthroat minitures and 3 pieces of scatter terrain Not exactly what I was expecting Will they #Heroquest the terrain will more than likely get used, the other two not so sure I'll give an overview tomorrow of it all

Day 23 of #advent Another single today, and its what I can only guess could be the cutthroat/pirate leader, stood with tactical barrel this time Will it #Heroquest, again with the other ones they will be very situational on use, so can't see it right now 1 day left, and only 1 seasonal miniture

Day 22 of #advent Today we have a single dwarf miniture, maybe a leader or noble Will it #Heroquest, this is certainly a maybe, could be used as a proxy for the dwarf character or as an important nps the group has to interact with They are still on the smaller size compared to my normal minitures

Day 21 of #advent And it looks like its the elves turn in the calendar, as we have 2 more today. One bow, one knives/short swords Will they #Heroquest, as with the couple from the other day, when the group gets close to the elf themed expansion they may get painted up, still smaller scale though

Day 20 of #advent And we have a viking (?) standard bearer, on tactical rock Another in the increasing line of what I've decided are vikings (to be fair with the scale they'd pass as dwarves too) Will it #Heroquest, maybe like the other if I decide on a band of them helping/attacking the heroes

Day 19 of #advent We have 2 elves today, but no bases 🤔 (but that's a big issue for me). Will they #Heroquest, maybe, they might come in useful as npc's when my group get further. Nice to see another race, but not many festive minitures (so far day one and that's it) and all have been male.

Day 18 of #advent And the only surprise today was there are 3 minitures. More of the winter dressed (what I've decided are) dwarves. Is this a case of 3 for the day or is another day missing something. Seemed strange as all were separately bagged 🤔 Will they #Heroquest, not sure right now 🤔

Day 17 of #advent Two what I'd say are definitely vikings today (so going with yesterdays was as well) Today is the first time we have a broken miniture, should be an easy fix to put the axe back together though, but that all depends if it'll #Heroquest and honestly I can't see it with these two.

Day 16 of #advent And today's we have a shouting(?) dwarf or viking, can't tell with the smaller scale. A dynamic pose, but will it #Heroquest, this will be a situational one. So if I need this pose yes, but otherwise it'll sit unpainted for a long while.

Day 15 of #advent We've got 2 evil/corrupted knights (again, sort of) These are slightly different to day 5's, they have tactical rocks to stand on, but we are back to multiples of ones we've already got. Will they #Heroquest, like the previous, but still on a smaller scale to be a good villian.

Day 14 of #advent And today we have a single dwarf in action pose on a tactical rock. Nicely posed but will it #Heroquest, this ones a maybe, the group dosnt include a dwarf so it wont be used as a alt sculpt, but may be useful in future quests if they have to follow someone into adventure.

Day 13 of #advent And today's we have two pirate/cutthroat minitures One needs a fair bit of tidying up, but will they #Heroquest, now I'm not sure on these two. These are the first ones I can't see an immediate use for. Not saying at some point I wont. Also they are all still on a smaller scale.

Day 12 of #advent Two clear ghostly minitures Nice minitures today, a light drybrush to bring out the detail in a spooky light blue and these will be perfect. Will they #Heroquest, yes, they could be a ghostly apparition giving the group a warning, or attack them for entering their tomb.

Day 11 of #advent And a genuine surprise... Two tree stumps. Wow, surprised by tree stumps, but its something different and would have liked a couple more of these instead of all the fighters from the first week. Will they #Heroquest, hell yeah, been planning on doing quests outside of dungeons.

Day 10 of #advent And we have a couple of dwarf fighters. A change from what we've had so far, scale is still a little off for #Heroquest but they will work. Hopefully this means a bit more variety in the coming days, although the face on the first one seems very soft in detail.

Day 9 of #advent And today's surprise is... Two dead orc's. They will definitely #Heroquest as can be used to mark an important dead orc the group may have to search, or to show that something big and bad is ahead. Still small on the scale size, but will work and nice to get something different.

Day 8 of #advent And in today's we have a surprise.. Two what in #Heroquest will be about dwarves sized archers in winter gear. So will they #Heroquest, these will more than likely be saved for when the group head towards the Frozen Horror and I can add a little more themed variety into the quests.

Day 7 of #advent and do we have a surprise.. Yes, its a single knight. Yes it is a different(ish) knight, maybe the leader, stood in dynamic pose and on a tactical rock. Will it #Heroquest, more than likely, he could be a special npc, or the leader of the second breakfast gang.

Day 6 of #advent and you'll never guess the surprise... Yes you guessed it, two more knights 😑 They are slightly different, they have different weapons and no capes, but are otherwise the same. Will they #Heroquest as with the rest probably, at this rate it'll be a small army against our hero's.

Day 5 of #advent and the surprise minitures today.... 2 more knights 😑 You definitely get quantity, but some variety would be nice. They are a little different (corrupted/evil) but very much same size and style as the rest. Will they #Heroquest, if i need a dread halfling warrior then yes, just.

Day 4 of #advent, today we have.... another 2 knights. These are slightly different from the previous 2 days, one needs a bit of hot water treatment, but like the previous 2 days are a little short. Will they #Heroquest, more than likely, maybe added to the ever expanding second breakfast gang.

Day 3 of #advent and at first glance looked like I got doubles already. They are "just" different from yesterdays, (i.e. different poses), but they otherwise are the same. So will they #Heroquest, yeah, it looks like the band looking for second breakfast is getting bigger.

Day 2 of #advent and today's figure or should say figures, are two armoured minitures. Not sure if meant to be knights or guards, but they are a little small on stature. So, will they #Heroquest, yeah could make them out as halfling knights on a noble quest to find second breakfast.

Day 1 of #Advent and this year its full of minitures. So the big question everyday will be "will it #Heroquest"? Today's is what appears to be a Santa paladin. It would probably Heroquest but I've already got a Santa ready for my groups xmas quest.

It's Halloween and day 31 of #orctober. I've missed a few days and just finished this one who will be playing Grinchlok in the xmas #Heroquest I have planned for my players.

#orctober day 5, group of 4 orc's. They are a little larger based than most of my #heroquest minitures but that just means they are going to be bigger and badder than regular orcs 🤣

Day 4 of #orctober I found some of my old #warhammer Black Orcs. So ended up painting a few and this one will end up been a named bad guy for my #heroquest group to come up against.

Today's #orctober miniture is my female orc barbarian, I may have plans for her to be a reoccurring nemesis for my party of heroes in #heroquest.

Today for #orctober I'm going with the free miniture I got with my #ArmyPainter fanatic set.
