DESY has restarted the free-electron laser FLASH following a 14-month upgrade as part of the FLASH2020+ project. The facility is now optimized for seeded FEL modes with extremely stable and spectrally narrow femtosecond X-ray pulses. I'm excited to use it! desy.de/desy_latest_...
