RED MAGIC is a rare book of fairy tales written by Romer Wilson & illustrated by Kay Nielsen, published in 1930. If you can find a copy, it will run you ~2000 USD. I saw it once in the wild, & the copy sported a $2.99 price tag from a previous Goodwill sale. 😯🤯

This new novel is forcing me to reread both the Iliad and the Odyssey, multiple times and in different versions, along with various commentaries. As the kids say, I'm there for it.
