Our USA trip is almost at an end and we're only bringing home the essentials! 😹 We travelled over 6,200 miles (9,977 kilometres) and visited so many towns, cities and places. We did so much but we especially loved Universal Studios, exploring LA and San Francisco, getting away to the mountains...

And we're finally in San Francisco! 😸

Holiday update: we're in the Singapore Airlines lounge at Sydney Airport waiting for our flight to San Francisco. 48 hours later than planned but they did move our return flight so we get a few extra days in San Francisco at the end of the trip to make up for the days we lost.

Okay, holiday start attempt two. Since we now have to go through Sydney to get to San Francisco tomorrow we decided to make the most of a shitty situation and go down a bit earlier so we can see my sister, Sherryn.

Trent and I are as grumpy as Connor looks in this photo. Our United flight from Brisbane to San Francisco was cancelled. We had been at the airport since 6:30 am and the flight didn't go at 10:40 am because of an "unscheduled maintenance" issue.

Well that didn't happen. The United flight got cancelled. In an Uber heading home while we try to rebook. Fun times.Two pissed off middle aged men in an Uber.
