“Well, I’m glad I am a kind weakness, I do try.” It didn’t take her long to finish off chocolate chip pancakes, topped with heart shaped cut strawberries, whipped cream, and a little drizzle of chocolate sauce. “You know… you should just stay home today. We could go for a swim in my pool?”

“Mm, does you weakness happen to start with a ‘K’ and end with an ‘uh’? Just out of genuine curiosity.” Karina smirked and poured the batter into the waffle maker before finish up her topping prep.

Cuddling her up like a snug little bug in a rug.

“Yes, you’re a good girl. A very good girl at that.” Karina had a soft smile playing on her lips as she poured the younger woman a mug of black coffee. “Now, while you have that, I’m going to make the batter for the waffles, and prep the toppings. That should keep you occupied long enough.”

“Oh, but you are. At least for me.” Karina loved it. She craved being needed, it gave her a sense of purpose. “Who’s a good girl?” She was toying playfully as she retrieved Kara’s mug that now lived in her kitchen. “Hm?”

“Mmm, I’ve just turned the machine on, sweetheart. You’ll have coffee soon.” She knew that Kara was going to want to be close to her even while she made breakfast, so she opened her arm. “C’mon, I’ve pretty much mastered one handed cooking at this point. Such a needy little thing.”

“Mmhm, you definitely are.” The brunette rolled her eyes as she gently pressed past Kara, pressing a kiss to her forehead as she went. “So incredibly serious. Never been silly in your life.”

“You can have another cuddle as soon as you’ve had some breakfast.” Karina made her way over to the wardrobe to pull out a long silk robe, draping it elegantly over her slip. “Now, you have to let me focus so I don’t burn them. No silly business, understood?”

“I’ll make you some extra special ones then,” she cooed out quietly, fingers tucking stray strands of hair behind the woman’s ears. “That means you’ll have to get off of me though, honey.”

“Yes, you. And two is very doable, my sweet. What toppings would you like?” The older woman raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow, gazing down at the woman that was currently bundled up in her arms. “Anything at all.”

“Naughty, naughty girl.” Karina tsked, chuckling softly at her second request. “Thirty two thousand, hm? It might take me a while, darlin.”

“Oh yes, so very scary.” And truly, her strength was. But Karina was never scared of her. She didn’t think it possible. “What do you want for breakfast?”

“Shhh, you’re just cute.” She couldn’t help herself, a very sleepy Kara was pulled into her arms, fingers running through blonde locks.
