First thing I saw when I got to the ocean yesterday was this #otter not more than 5 metres away. By the time I got my camera out he had moved further out. Seemed to be quite interested in watching me as he dove and surfaced, swimming ever further away. #nature #photography #wildlife

All that remains of the Crescent Oyster Company (1904-1957) are these timber posts that once housed the Company. It's now used only by an assortment of birds that frequent the area. (The building you see is the Maple Street Pump House.) Amazing how long wood lasts in water. #Surrey #BC #history
