I watched both of Argentina U-20's friendly internationals against Bolivia U-20 and picked out Milton Delgado (first match) and Mariano Gerez (second match) to write match reports about, as I have not written about them yet.

Watching some Peruvian football (because why not) as I was interested to watch Sporting Cristal’s Maxloren Castro (‘07). He looks like an interesting player but as for any 16-year-old there’s a lot of work to do.

Using this app to complain about the Justin Lerma ('08) situation. Has only played 287 minutes for the first team, while not playing any youth football. It's terrible for a young player to not play any matches, whether it's first-team football or the U-19s. Shitty situation.

I am watching River Plate II - Defensa y Justicia II and I can’t say I’m positive about River’s level. Only Ian Subiabre (‘07) looks close to being a contender for regular first-team football

Watching Estudiantes II and they’re a fun side to watch with plenty of good U20 players.

The Argentinian league is so weirdly set up, just make two national leagues with 18-20 teams and play 34-38 matches a year.

What happened to IDV… they need to score as many goals as they can and suddenly they’re actually winning by a big margin

Tomas Jacob (‘04) has looked strong in defence for Newell’s Old Boys today. Composed, assertive and quick. Times both his stand and slide tackles well. A bit passive on the ball at times but quite clean. Reads the game well.

I am watching some more players that came up in my data analysis today. Santino Lopez Garcia ('06), Sergio Troncoso ('06) and Santiago Villarreal ('05) are the ones to watch in this match, although I am also keeping my eyes open for some other players.

This match did not deserve a goal, but it seems like Tigre are heading towards an important away win against Banfield.
