Shakra isn’t just a cool singer, but also a cool fighter. She completely smashed this little fly in about half the number of hits it takes me. Too bad she can’t go everywhere with me.

Justice for All looks like the first Phoenix Wright and plays the same. Case quality is uneven — the last one was amazing, but I had to force myself through the second-to-last. The great soundtrack returns. Humor is sometimes awesome, sometimes a bit cringe.

Not a big fan of AR games, but I am really interested in this. I often feel a bit like in Death Stranding when I’m in the mountains...

A small gaming break in the Dolomites. Even though I’m not a big fan of mobile gaming, I’m finding that some activities in Persona Phantom X (like combat) actually work quite well on a phone.

P5X: first treasure stolen, first heart changed. I’m not a fan of gacha games — in fact, I’ve never played one before… So far, I’m surprised by the production quality — there might even be more animated cutscenes here than in P5R. The music, art style, and sound effects all feel just the same.

Playing RDR2 for the first time. It still looks absolutely beautiful.

Despelote is a game about childhood and sports fandom. Although it takes place in Ecuador and centers around the World Cup qualification, it reminded me of my own growing up in the ’90s and the national obsession with hockey during the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano.➡️

Finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortune yesterday. You can already tell a bit of the age in the gameplay, the jet ski level was kind of a little hell. I expected the story from Naughty Dog to be a bit better, but the characters were well-written, Nathan is a really likeable guy.

I’m playing the first Uncharted for the first time. I didn’t expect it to be the kind of game I’d have to turn off at night because it suddenly changes genre into horror and I start getting scared.😅

In Many Nights a Whisper, you train daily for a ritual – hitting a distant chalice with a sling. Each night, visitors share their wishes at the shrine, and you choose which to grant. Hit the chalice, and the wish comes true – you only get one attempt. ➡️

I finished Trails in the Sky FC today, and I’m officially a new Trails fan. Estelle and Joshua are an amazing main duo—maybe the best I’ve ever come across in a JRPG. The rest of the characters are great too, and “Lieutenant Lorence” in particular really caught my attention. And THAT ENDING!!!!!! ➡️

In The Dark Queen of Mortholme, the hero tries to defeat the Dark Queen—the game’s final boss. At first, it seems impossible, but with each death, the hero grows stronger, learning to read her attacks and improving their build… and between attempts, they exchange a few words. You play as the queen.➡️

#MafiaTheOldCountry done! Sicily kept amazing me right until the very end, and the soundtrack absolutely deserves a shoutout. The story’s ending was a bit of a letdown, but it sure didn’t lack epicness (maybe even too much). BTW, the final bossfight really reminded me of one from TLOU...➡️

I've played the first few hours of #MafiaTheOldCountry . What impressed me most is its depiction of Sicily – from landscapes to villages, churches, and interiors. Sicilian dub adds a lot to the atmosphere. It's story-driven and linear, with solid writing. A few gameplay issues, but I'm enjoying it.

Among non-FromSoft soulslikes, Lies of P still holds the top spot for me, but Wuchang comes right after. I really liked the upgrade system, which lets you try different builds easily and without penalty. Combat is fun and the difficulty felt just right – some bosses can be tough, but all attacks ➡️

Wuchang might not be the most technically polished game, but some of the locations look really beautiful. On PS5, it runs smoothly most of the time in balanced mode, and I’m enjoying it more and more.

Australia and Mexico fully connected to the chiral network. There are still a few side quests left that I’d like to come back to.

I’d bet that Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo will end up nominated for Indie Game of the Year. It pays homage to the GBA era and feels closest to 2D Zeldas like Minish Cap. The story is simple, but the dialogue is incredibly witty, and beneath the surface lies a clever critique of consumerism, ➡️

Waiting for a remake took way too long, so I just finished the first chapter of Trails in the Sky FC. And I think Estelle might be my favorite female JRPG character—she’s amazing! Joshua is great too. It's such a well-written JRPG with excellent localization.

What are you even supposed to do with your gaming life after finishing #DeathStranding2? The sequel to one of my all-time favorite games doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it’s richer and more diverse in every possible way. The core gameplay from the first game is still there, but now the player ➡️

And now all that’s left is to wait for Death Stranding :) I had a great time in Nightreign. It was great that there was an achievement that pushed me to try all the characters and get at least a basic understanding of how to play each one.

I finished #TheAlters – at first I was planning to save it for later (DS2 is right around the corner!), but I ended up devouring it in just five days. It crashed a few times, and Jan got stuck here and there, but otherwise it's excellent: an engaging and well-written existential/sociological story ➡️

In the social room in The Alters, Frostpunk is playing on the TV :) And there’s also some great music playing – if anyone has a “social room” playlist, I’d love it if you shared it!

I started playing The Alters. It's excellent – the gameplay loop is addictive, the story is intriguing, the dialogues are well-written... But I'm not very good at it :(

#LiesOfP #Overture is absolutely outstanding in every aspect — from its story and side quests to several excellent locations and boss fights. The opening stands out with its original setting, and the ending is both emotional and intense, featuring something I’ve never seen in any Souls game before.

The biggest surprise of yesterday’s Summer Game Fest for me was the shadow drop of Lies of P: Overture. I’ve finished the first "act", whose opening area — in terms of its setting and enemies — is something quite original for the soulslike genre. A kangaroo killed me 10 times in a row...

I tried the demo yesterday and had to buy it. It's excellent in every way — it felt like playing a small Zelda game, but with incredibly witty writing.

Finished Clair Obscur for the 2nd time yesterday. The ending made me cry again — I could watch it a dozen times and it would still move me. It’s impossible to put into just a few lines how deeply this game affected me. One of the best games I’ve ever played and one of the best soundtracks in gaming.

Finally! FF Tactics was definitely the highlight of State of Play for me. And it's coming as soon as September 30th! ♥️ I was also glad to see Nioh 3 with a demo available right away — I’ll be trying it out in the next few days.

First Nightlord solo attempt. My level wasn’t very high and, as expected, it didn’t go too well (for me, the Nightlord was fine) Playing solo is nice though, for improving map awareness, and so on.

I finished the Hell is Us demo – what surprised me the most was the number of puzzles. With no map, markers, or quest log, it’s probably a game to play with a notebook nearby. The atmosphere and setting are amazing, and the combat felt fine, but nothing that truly wowed me.

The first Nightlord has fallen. I still much prefer the classic Souls games, but I have to admit Nightreign is actually a lot of fun (especially with friends on voice chat). And at its core, it’s still Elden Ring.

Kabuto Park’s got cute hand-drawn graphics, a fun combat system, and a really smooth UI. It’s a great 2-hour game where you catch bugs, send them to battle against your friends’ bugs, and upgrade your bug team with candy rewards. Highly recommend!

I've spent nearly 350 hours playing Elden Ring on PC, but I felt that a game so important and special to me deserved to be owned in physical form on PlayStation as well. Plus, now I can go for the platinum trophy there too :)

I only found out today that #ChronoTrigger was the first game to use the term NG+. The more I think about this game, the more I realize how incredibly ahead of its time it was — in pretty much every way. I am gonna use NG+ option at some point for sure.

The prologue of #ClairObscurExpedition33 hit me even harder the second time around. I’ve only experienced such a powerful start to a game with the first TLOU.

Incredibly timeless graphics. I can’t believe #ChronoTrigger is already 30 years old. On top of that, it has one of the best soundtracks of all time. It might even rival FF VII. I’m getting close to the end now, expecting some big twist about the main antagonist...

I thought I'd take a bit of a longer break before my second playthrough, but I guess that's not happening. This time, I want to go through it slowly, with all the optional areas... maybe try it on medium difficulty. I was considering the English voice, but I'd probably really miss the French.

Great news, I've been waiting for the upgrade to play Call of Pripyat. It's nice that even though they probably have a lot of work with Stalker 2, they're also returning to the original trilogy.

I'm not really into merch, but I seriously need Esquie in my life.

Probably the most well-known recurring character from Final Fantasy is Cid. But there are others too — like Biggs and Wedge. It was a nice moment to run into them in Chrono Trigger as well :)

Finished South of Midnight yesterday – the gameplay was mid, and the repetitive loop of combat and chasing scenes started to bore me pretty quickly (though I do appreciate the option to skip both... it's like the devs knew that this wasn’t the game's strongest point).➡️

Even the patch notes are nicely written :) Also, they fixed a bug I reported. I probably wasn't the only one, but it still feels nice.

I'm halfway through South of Midnight — have some serious issues with the gameplay and don't want to judge the story yet (though I'm surprised by how brutal it is), but but two things are undeniable: the world is beautiful and the music is excellent.

Well deserved. I finished it on Game Pass, but I’m definitely planning to buy it. Still deciding whether to go for the PS physical edition or the Steam version—It'll probably look better on PC, but a physical copy is a physical copy.
