Dfam 4.0 has been released. With over 7 million TE families spanning 6130 species, Dfam continues to grow through genome sequencing and community submissions. Today we’re introducing a major update to the family seed alignments, protein features, and relationship data visualizations on the Dfam website. In addition, we are adding two new datasets: ULTRA reported tandem repeats, and self-alignments.
