In 1994, 85 people were killed in the deadliest antisemitic attack on the Western Hemisphere. On July 18, 1994, a suicide bomber drove a van into the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina (AMIA), a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires.

Today, we’re thanking lawmakers in the Garden State for advancing a bill that would see New Jersey adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism.
