Finally hit up the Santa Cruz Boardwalk as summer winds down. Cave Train ride is looking sharp and I love the pirate mini golf course.

Took one last ride on Monsters Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue last night. Sad to see any dark ride heading out to pasture, but I’m intrigued to have Jake Sully come to my rescue.

Blown away by the “Desperate, Scared, but Social” show at the Orange County Museum of Art. The Emily’s Sassy Lime room sublimely captures the indie scene in the ‘90s plus some Disneyland art!

Visited 6 Flags Over Texas for the first time, primarily to ride Pirates of Spee-lunker Cave. It’s pretty great. But holy heck the lack of merch is nuts. Can’t believe I couldn’t buy 1 thing featuring these crazy creatures.

Finally! I've been living silently with my love for O'DESSA for weeks. So glad one of my fave film critics saw it and is singing its praises. It's super uniquely weird and earnestly romantic in a way that worked for me. Felt like a tween update of the Cinéma du Look.
