Just got back from the 6 week checkup...healing really well, got the go ahead to go to work and start radiation. The hard part is done, just hoping radiation does the trick.

Today is the 6 week post hysterectomy checkup to get the all clear to start radiation. Feeling better, but this is an emotional process as well, I'm still working on that.

Darn, vehicle prices have jumped. I realized that we needed a 2nd vehicle since I'm going back to work on the 16th, plus radiation treatments. But I ended up with a '26 corolla cross. Waiting for it to be delivered from the plant.

This week marks 6 weeks since the hysterectomy. A crap ton of emotions and I'm not done yet. I still have to get through radiation treatment. Tomorrow is the 6 week check up, and hopefully get the ok to go to work starting the 16th. It's going to be a difficult few weeks, but I'll get through this.

I ventured out to the store by myself today. It felt like some of my independence is back. No pain or discomfort at the surgical site, so getting back to normal feels pretty darn good. Next week is the 6 week check up and schedule radiation therapy.
