That heavy, wet snow is really difficult to shovel. Not taking any chances of a heart attack, the rest of the driveway can wait. Kiddo is worn out too, plus being sick, so yeah, the driveway can wait.

Time to go shovel the driveway. Nice little snowfall today,making it festive to put up our Christmas tree and add more lights around the living room.

Thanksgiving with my brother and his family was a success! No fighting, food was great, memories of mom were shared. I made mom's stuffing, which actually turned out really well. Mom was watching. 😇💙

I really need my mom today. I can't stop crying this morning. Between the first holiday season without her, and having a cancer diagnosis, it's too much today.

Today marks the first time that I'll be preparing the stuffing for our turkey on my own without mom supervising. I'm so sad, I miss her so much. Part of me just wants to sleep through the holidays.

Biopsy results came early. I have a phone call with the doctor today. From what I comprehend, I don't have cervical cancer, which is good, however, I do have stage 1 endometrial cancer, which is normally treated by hysterectomy. Sad, but relived at the same time.

Starting to hang up Christmas lights today. Our poor hedge needs a major branchcut before its lights can be put on. Trying to make the best of the first holiday season without my mom. I really miss her.
